Fluke 80PK-22 SureGrip Immersion Probe for Temperature
The 80PK-22 is a temperature probe for measurements in liquids and gels. It is used with an instrument that can accept Type K thermocouples, allowing for a temperature reading directly in the medium to be measured.
The probe is built as a Type K thermocouple probe, and the measuring point itself is protected by an Inconel sheath all the way from the tip to the handle. This means it is designed for more demanding temperature measurements where the sensor needs to be immersed in an environment and not just placed on the surface of the object.
The long cable makes it easy to keep the measuring instrument away from the process itself while the probe is in the liquid. At the same time, it is also relevant when measuring temperature in common tasks with Type K equipment, as long as the instrument has a mini-thermocouple input.
The 80PK-22 is not the ideal probe for food or beverage applications. For these types of tasks, a different probe is usually chosen.
