ITECO Sahara 80 L drying oven for PCBs
The ITECO Sahara is a forced-ventilation oven for baking printed circuit boards and electronic cards. It is used when components and boards need to be dried or heat-treated according to the requirements described in JEDEC J-STD-033 and IPC-1602. In practice, this means that the oven is intended for professional electronics production where moisture in materials and components must be handled in a controlled manner.
The oven chamber is made of AISI304 stainless steel, while the exterior is made of epoxy-coated steel. The heating elements are located in a pre-chamber and are not in direct contact with the inner chamber. This provides controlled air and heat distribution in the oven, which is relevant when working with sensitive electronic items.
Control is managed via a digital PID controller with a temperature range from 40 to 280 °C. It has a display accuracy of ±1.5 °C and a resolution of ±1 °C. In addition, there is a multi-function timer and data logger so the process can be controlled and recorded during use.
The model shown is the Sahara 80 L, which has a compact format for a workshop or production environment where space is a factor. The series is also available in DRY versions with electronic moisture control, which can reach below 5% RH between 40 and 100 °C. Accessories and options include extra shelves and PIDManager software for programming thermal cycles.
