PDR IR-E3 – precise BGA and SMT rework system
The PDR IR-E3 is a professional manual rework system for precise and reproducible rework of BGA, QFN, CSP, and other SMT components. The system combines focused IR heating with optical component alignment, advanced temperature control, and PDR's ThermoActive software.
Optical alignment for precise component placement
The split-beam prism system provides simultaneous viewing of the component and PCB during placement, enabling placement accuracy of up to 10 µm. The 2,800 W three-zone IR preheater ensures controlled heating of the PCB, while the component temperature is monitored non-contact.
The IR-E3 handles PCBs up to 300 × 450 mm and components from 01005 up to 55 × 55 mm. The system is suitable when higher demands are placed on process control, precise component placement, and repeatable rework processes.
