The PDR IR-Q3 is a semi-automatic rework system designed for production and high-mix environments where high repeatability and reduced operator dependency are crucial. The system combines PDR's focused IR technology with automatic component removal and placement.
Automated Component Handling Ensures High Repeatability
Automated component handling reduces operator variability, making the IR-Q3 suitable for repetitive rework tasks. Split-beam optical alignment with 50x magnification ensures precise positioning, while the ThermoActive software controls temperature profiling.
The IR-Q3 handles PCBs up to 300 × 450 mm and components up to 55 × 55 mm. A 2,800 W three-zone IR preheater is combined with 150 W focused IR component heating for controlled and reproducible rework.
