The FLEXI-1V 2.5 is a highly flexible multi-stranded wire with reinforced insulation. It is used where a wire is needed that can withstand movement while maintaining safe electrical insulation in a professional installation.
The wire has a nominal cross-section of 2.5 mm² and a construction with 651 strands of 0.07 mm. It is precisely this fine strand construction that makes it flexible and easy to work with when there are space limitations or a need for a wire that can be bent and routed more freely. The total cable diameter is 3.9 mm, and the insulation is made of PVC with a thickness of 0.8 mm.
In practice, this means that you get a wire designed for electrical connections with a rated voltage level of AC 1000 V / DC 1500 V and a rated current of 32 A. The temperature range is from -10 °C to +70 °C, making it suitable for common industrial and technical environments within those limits.
