GW-INSTEK GSB-01
The GW-INSTEK GSB-01 is a multiplex scanner box used with the GPT-9800, GPT-9900, and GPT-9900A series. It enables the distribution of test voltage or test current to multiple test points, allowing for more efficient safety testing of electronic products and components.
The box features 8 high-voltage channels, and each channel can be incorporated into a setup for sequential multi-point testing. This is particularly useful when the same test needs to be performed on many connections, or when production requires repeated measurements on multiple products. The scanner box supports a high-voltage rating of 5 kVac / 6 kVdc and an insulation resistance test of 1 kVdc.
Up to four scanner boxes can be connected to a single GPT-9800/9900/9900A tester, allowing the system to be expanded to a total of 32 channels. Communication between the tester and the scanner box occurs via RS-232C. In practice, this provides a flexible solution when multi-point testing is required in production or for volume testing.
Included accessories are the H.V. wiring lead GHT-108 and the communication cable GTL-235.
