GW-INSTEK GPT-9601
The GW-INSTEK GPT-9601 is an AC withstand voltage tester for safety testing of equipment and components. It is used to check if a device can withstand a high AC voltage for a test period without breakdown or undesirable effects. In practice, it is a type of safety tester suitable for routine testing and production testing where electrical safety is required.
The model operates with an AC test voltage range from 0.10 kV to 5.00 kV AC and has a maximum output capacity of 100 VA. The maximum test current is 20 mA at voltages above 0.5 kV. During the test, the instrument can use ARC detection, true RMS current measurement, and zero-crossing turn-on, which helps with a more controlled start-up of the high voltage. In addition, there is a configurable safety interlock to enhance safety during daily operation.
The display is a 240 × 48 ice-blue dot-matrix LCD, making it easier to monitor voltage, measured value, and test results during the process. This is a practical detail when tests need to be run consistently and documented clearly.
The GPT-9601 comes with a power cord, interlock key, remote terminal cable GHT-119, and test lead GHT-114. It also includes an option for remote control via the remote terminal and signal I/O.
