STAUBLI SAL-4A-39-TW
The SAL-4A-39-TW is a small, straight 4 mm plug for self-assembly of test leads. It is used when building a measuring lead from scratch with a solder connection at one end and a fixed, insulated sleeve around the contact. Its slim design makes the plug suitable for compact solutions in test and measurement applications.
Inside the plug is Staubli's spring-loaded MULTILAM contact, which ensures the connection in the 4 mm system. The surface of the contact is gold-plated, and the plug is specified for the 4 mm plug system, making it compatible with common professional test setups where measurement leads and accessories follow the same standard.
The plug is rated for 1000 V, CAT II and 600 V, CAT III, both at 32 A. This means it can be used in the construction of test leads for demanding measurement tasks where both voltage and current must be clearly specified. It is also listed as a test accessory according to IEC EN 61010-031 and has UR approval.
The wire can be routed to plugs with a maximum outer diameter of 3.9 mm or a cross-section of 2.5 mm². This makes it easier to choose a suitable cable type when assembling a lead for a specific measurement or testing purpose.
