FLUKE i430 Flex Current Probe

The i430 Flex is a flexible AC current probe. It is used with a Fluke 430 series power quality analyzer to measure current on conductors where a traditional current clamp is difficult to access. The flexible measurement head makes it possible to route the probe around cable bundles and other confined spaces, without the need for batteries or external power.

The principle behind the probe is the Rogowski principle, which in practice means that it measures AC current with a light and flexible loop around the conductor. This makes it particularly useful for thick or hard-to-reach conductors, where you need to quickly access and take a measurement without unnecessarily interrupting the installation.

This is therefore not a standalone measuring instrument, but a measuring probe that sends a signal to a compatible Fluke 430 instrument. It therefore makes sense when the task is to measure high AC currents in connection with power quality and plant work, where access conditions are often limited.
