FLUKE FLK-LENS/WIDE2 wide-angle lens for thermal imagers
This is an additional lens for Fluke thermal imagers when you want a wider field of view in the image. In practice, this means you get more in one go, making it easier to survey larger areas during thermography.
The lens is used with compatible Fluke cameras and fits TiX560, TiX520, TiX500, Ti400, Ti300, and Ti200. As a smart lens, it can be mounted directly on compatible cameras without the camera having to be sent in for recalibration. This is an advantage when you want to switch between different measurement tasks and quickly move on.
With a field of view of 46° horizontally and 34° vertically, you get a clear wide angle, which is ideal when the subject or area is large, or when you cannot get close. The short minimum focal distance of 15 cm also makes it useful when working close to what needs to be observed.
The lens itself is made of diamond-turned germanium with a special coating. This material is used in infrared lenses because it can handle the type of measurement that thermal imagers work with.
