Fluke CalNet+ Calibration Level
CalNet+ is a calibration level from Fluke, used when a traceable calibration with both a certificate and a report with measurement data is required. It is not the measuring instrument itself, but the service and documentation that comes with it when the equipment is calibrated.
This makes it relevant in environments where it must be possible to document that an instrument has been checked and adjusted according to measurable data. If the measurement points are at 70% of the specification or worse, adjustment is made under CalNet+. If an instrument is out of specification, a report with measurement data is first provided before any adjustments are made.
The certificate indicates traceability to the SI system and refers to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 where relevant. In practice, this means that the calibration is incorporated into a known measurement chain, which many professional users attach importance to in their quality assurance.
Fluke's calibration certificates also have a two-dimensional QR code that can be read with a smartphone. It contains information about the service laboratory's location and data from the calibration label, making it easier to keep track of the equipment.
CalNet+ is therefore typically suitable for tasks where you don't just need an "ok", but a calibration with documentation, traceability, and a clear basis for any adjustment.
