DERAY®-IAKT is a thin-walled, adhesive-lined, cross-linked polyolefin heat shrink tube designed for moisture-resistant insulation. The product is available in both 3:1 and 4:1 shrink ratios; the specified 4:1 format 52.0/13.0 shrinks from 52.0 mm to 13.0 mm and is supplied in a length of 1.22 m (48 in). The material is stated as modified polyolefin, and the tube has an adhesive lining that improves moisture sealing at joints. The application method is practical and straightforward: the tube is applied over an area to be sealed or insulated and heated to at least the specified minimum shrink temperature to achieve full recovery.
