The PeakTech P 5200 is a moisture meter for wood and building materials, designed for spot measurements using probe sensors. The PeakTech P 5200 simultaneously displays the measured moisture content and ambient temperature on a backlit LCD screen and has three LEDs (green/yellow/red) for a quick assessment of the measured value.Function and Measurement Principle
The device operates with a probe that is inserted into the test material during measurement. Readings are shown on the LCD display, and LED indicators show the status based on fixed thresholds: below 6% all LEDs off, 6–16% green on, 16–20% yellow on, and >20% red on. The instrument features data hold and automatic shutdown after 15 seconds.
