BAHCO 225-PLUS is a professional hacksaw frame for 300 mm blades, supplied with a 24 TPI Sandflex® bi-metal blade. It is used when sawing metal and other materials with a handsaw where good control and firm blade tension are required.
What particularly characterizes the frame is its high blade tension and the blade-change mechanism, where a spring holds the blade in place. This makes it easier to change blades in practice when work needs to continue without unnecessary hassle. The aluminium handle provides a solid grip, and the rectangular back can also be used as a compass saw when sawing more freely or closer to a workpiece.
For tasks requiring flush cutting, there are alternative 55° mounting pins. In addition, there is extra storage for blades in the tubular frame, allowing you to keep a spare blade close at hand.
