Fluke VPS421-R High-Voltage Oscilloscope Probe

The Fluke VPS421-R is a voltage probe for oscilloscope measurements when working with high voltages. It is used with an oscilloscope or a ScopeMeter and allows measurements on circuits where a common probe would quickly fall short. With an attenuation ratio of 100:1, it lowers the signal, so the instrument can read it safely and more clearly.

This is especially relevant for troubleshooting in electrical and electromechanical systems, where high operating voltages may be present and there is a need to get close to components and connections. The narrow, shielded 4 mm probe tip is designed to limit exposed metal, providing a safer connection during measurement. Additionally, several connection parts are included, so the probe can be used with various types of test points and clamps.

The probe has a bandwidth of 150 MHz, allowing it to follow fast signals in measurement tasks where the signal shape is also important. The long 1.2 m cable provides some working space around the measurement point. With safety classifications CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V, this is a probe chosen when measurements are carried out in more demanding environments and safety requirements must be met.
