STAUBLI SILI-HV 2.5
The SILI-HV 2.5 is a super flexible, reinforced, insulated multi-strand wire for high voltages. It is constructed with a nominal conductor cross-section of 2.5 mm² and is rated for AC 12,500 V and 32 A. In practice, this means it is designed for tasks where high demands are placed on both insulation and handling.
The conductor consists of 651 strands with a wire diameter of 0.07 mm, and the conductor itself has a diameter of 2.3 mm. The total cable diameter is 6.6 mm, and the insulation is 2.15 mm thick. This type of construction provides a wire that is easy to work with in installations where space is limited, but where a robust and well-documented solution is still desired.
The insulation material is silicone, and the temperature range is from -50 °C to +90 °C. This makes the wire relevant in environments where there can be large temperature fluctuations, and where a standard wire may not necessarily be suitable for the load.
