BAHCO BE-8050S
The BAHCO BE-8050S is a VDE-insulated slotted screwdriver for work on electrical installations where protection against voltage is required. It is designed as an ERGO™ model with a three-component handle, ensuring it sits firmly in the hand during use.
The screwdriver is intended for slotted screws and features a precise, phosphate-finished tip. The blade itself is made of high-performance alloy steel, with insulation molded directly onto the blade. This makes the tool well-suited for professional electrical work, where a clear and robust connection between the blade, insulation, and handle is desired.
The handle is color-coded and features a permanent symbol for the screw type on the end, making it easy to identify the tool in a toolbox. The flat end also helps prevent the screwdriver from rolling away on a surface, and the integrated hanging hole makes it easy to store.
The BE-8050S is certified for work on live equipment up to 1000 V and is manufactured and inspected according to IEC 60900. It has also been tested in a 10,000 V water bath, which is part of the documented safety testing for insulated hand tools.
