BAHCO BE-8704
The BAHCO BE-8704 is an ERGO™ hex screwdriver for hex-head screws with a 4.0 mm tip and a 100 mm blade. It is used when the screw needs to be gripped with a hex bit, but where it is advantageous to be able to access it from a slightly different angle. The ball-end tip makes exactly that possible.
The blade is made of high-performance steel, is chrome-plated and hardened, and the tip has a black oxide finish for better precision. In practice, this means a robust blade with a tip designed to fit more securely in the screw. The handle is made of three materials and is shaped to fit comfortably in the hand during general workshop work. Color coding and a permanent symbol on the end make it easy to identify in the tool kit.
Daily use has also been considered: the flat side prevents the tool from rolling away on the table, and the integrated hanging hole makes it easy to store it in view. With a total length of 222 mm and a weight of 66 g, it is a compact hand tool for precision work with hex screws.
