Solder Bar SN100Ce® Kilobar – Approx. 1 kg (Price per kg)
SN100Ce® from Balver Zinn is a lead-free replenishment alloy developed for the maintenance of solder baths based on SN100C®. The alloy is specifically designed to keep the solder bath's composition within the desired process limits and ensure stable soldering properties over time.
SN100Ce® is used as a replenishment alloy in wave and selective soldering systems where the copper content in the solder bath naturally increases during production. By using a copper-reduced replenishment alloy, the operator can maintain the optimal alloy composition and thus ensure a stable and uniform soldering process.
Developed for the maintenance of SN100C® solder baths
SN100Ce® is not a first-fill alloy but is developed specifically for refilling existing SN100C® solder baths. The alloy contains nickel and germanium, but significantly lower copper content than standard SN100C®.
This makes it possible to continuously compensate for the copper input that occurs from printed circuit boards, component leads, and other materials during the soldering process.
Stable process and uniform solder quality
When used correctly, SN100Ce® contributes to:
• Stable copper content in the solder bath
• Uniform soldering properties
• Reduced risk of process variations
• High solder quality throughout production
• Long-term process control
• Efficient maintenance of SN100C® alloys
The product is particularly relevant for companies working with high-volume production and seeking maximum control over their soldering processes.
Suitable for wave and selective soldering
SN100Ce® is typically used for:
• Refilling SN100C® solder baths
• Wave soldering
• Selective soldering
• Electronics production in larger series
• Industrial electronics
• Automotive electronics
• Production with high demands for process stability
The alloy is developed for professional use in modern lead-free soldering systems.
