Solder Bar SN100Ce® SnNi without eye – Approx. 3.2 kg
SN100Ce® from Balver Zinn is a lead-free replenishment alloy developed specifically for maintaining SN100C®-based solder baths in modern electronics production. The alloy is designed to ensure that the solder bath's composition remains within the recommended process limits, even after extended production periods where copper is continuously absorbed from PCBs and components.
This variant is supplied as a solder bar without an eye and is suitable for companies working with wave soldering, selective soldering, or other industrial soldering processes based on SN100C® technology.
Developed as a replenishment alloy for SN100C®
SN100Ce® is not intended for initial filling of solder baths but serves as a specially developed replenishment alloy for existing SN100C® processes. Its copper-reduced composition helps compensate for the natural copper input that occurs during production.
The result is a more stable alloy composition, improved process control, and consistent soldering results over time.
Stable soldering process and high quality
When used correctly, SN100Ce® contributes to:
• Stable copper content in the solder bath
• Consistent soldering properties
• Reduced risk of process variations
• High and reproducible solder quality
• Long-term process stability
• Efficient maintenance of SN100C® alloys
This makes the alloy particularly interesting for companies with high demands on quality, traceability, and process control.
Suitable for wave and selective soldering
SN100Ce® is typically used for:
• Replenishment of SN100C® solder baths
• Wave soldering
• Selective soldering
• Dip soldering
• Electronics production in larger series
• Industrial electronics
• Automotive electronics
• Production with high demands on operational reliability
The alloy can be used in both atmospheric air and nitrogen environments and supports stable processes in modern production facilities.
Reduces oxidation and supports process control
SN100Ce® contains nickel and germanium, which help reduce oxidation and support stable soldering properties. At the same time, its copper-reduced composition helps keep the solder bath's chemistry within the desired process limits.
This can contribute to:
• Reduced dross formation
• Excellent solder joints
• Improved through-hole filling
• Reduced risk of solder bridges
• More consistent product quality
