ALSIDENT 1-7535-5
The ALSIDENT 1-7535-5 is a round hood for the Alsident System 75 extraction arm. It is used in situations where light fumes and gases need to be captured close to the source, for example, over small open containers. The round shape and diameter of Ø385 mm make the hood suitable for applications requiring a wide opening while maintaining a clear view of the workspace.
The hood is made of transparent PETG, which is solvent-resistant, and the connecting tube is made of anodized aluminum with a 10 µ surface. According to Alsident, the reinforced edge provides better stability when the hood is moved, and it is also stated to work more efficiently in an angled position. The transparent design also helps maintain visibility of the object and process.
For System 75, the hoods are supplied with a nozzle/connecting tube. This variant has a white flange, indicated by the suffix -5. Alsident also offers a red flange variant with the suffix -4.
