Fluke AC288 Terminal Block Probe with Retractable Tip
The AC288 is a probe for making measurements on terminal blocks and screw terminals, where space is often limited. It is used with test leads to provide a secure and more controlled connection to deeper connection points.
Its most notable feature is the retractable probe tip. The tip can be extended when measuring and retracted again when not in use. This makes it more practical when working close to live parts, as the tip is not exposed all the time.
The flexible, insulated shaft makes it easier to access recessed connections without having to force the tool unnecessarily. It is also equipped with a stainless steel tip that can be extended to the actual contact point.
It is designed for use with TL224, TL222, or TL221 test leads. If you already have this equipment, it is a great special accessory for measurements where ordinary test probes do not provide proper access.
