Tin Spool 3.0 mm without flux SN100Ce® (SnNiGe) – 4 kg spool

SN100Ce® from Balver Zinn is a lead-free solder alloy developed for professional soldering processes where high demands are placed on process stability, solder quality, and control over alloy composition. This variant is supplied as solid solder wire without flux on a 4 kg spool and is suitable for industrial applications where flux is added separately or is not required.

SN100Ce® is a copper-reduced alloy based on tin, nickel, and germanium. The alloy is specifically developed for maintaining SN100C®-based soldering processes and is often used in production environments where precise control over the copper content in the solder bath is desired.

Copper-reduced alloy for stable soldering processes

During many industrial soldering processes, copper is continuously added to the solder bath from circuit boards, component leads, and other materials. SN100Ce® is designed to counteract this accumulation by having a reduced copper content compared to traditional SnCu alloys.

This contributes to a more stable alloy composition and helps keep the soldering process within the desired process limits for longer periods.

Suitable for industrial soldering applications

The solid 3.0 mm solder wire without flux is suitable for applications where the operator desires full control over both solder metal and flux system.

Typical applications include:

• Solder bath maintenance
• Industrial soldering processes
• Dip soldering
• Wire tinning
• Electronics production
• Industrial electronics
• Automotive electronics
• Special applications with separate flux supply

The large 4 kg spool makes the product suitable for production environments with continuous solder consumption.

Consistent quality and high process control

SN100Ce® is developed for companies seeking maximum control over their soldering processes. The alloy contributes to stable soldering properties and consistent results while supporting efficient maintenance of existing SN100C®-based processes.

The nickel-stabilized alloy combined with germanium contributes to excellent solder joints and a more controlled process.
